I think it’s pretty obvious by now, I love a good movie. I love sharing how you can include Film Studies in your homeschool. In this new series of posts, I’ll focus on one film element and include an easy activity you can do with your kids. Film Studies 101 will walk you through different components that are woven together to create the finished product you see on screen. What is a shot? Which angle is it? Why is mise-en-scéne important? Does music really make a difference? I’m going to use the original Star Wars trilogy for these activities but you can use any film.
